Call Recording & Monitoring Notice
What to know before you call our team.
Why we monitor and record calls
When you call our team, the call may be monitored in real time and/or recorded. We do this to help verify the details of your inquiry or order, train our staff, maintain service quality, and meet obligations we have under our marketing and retailer agreements with providers and master marketing partners.
What this means for you
By calling us, you're calling a business — not a fully automated system — and, depending on the laws of your state, continuing the call after this notice may be treated as consent to recording. Some states require all parties to a call to consent to recording before it begins. If you do not wish to be recorded, please let our representative know at the start of the call, and we will do our best to accommodate your preference where feasible; in some cases, this may mean we're unable to complete certain requests by phone.
Outbound calls
If we return a call to you — for example, after you've submitted an availability request or left a message — that call may also be monitored or recorded on the same basis described above.
How recordings are used and retained
Recordings, where made, are used internally for the purposes described above and may be shared with the applicable provider or master marketing partner as needed to verify an order, investigate a complaint, or meet a compliance obligation. Recordings are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for these purposes and are not sold. Business Owner Confirmation Required Confirm the actual retention period and recording vendor/system in use so this section can name a specific timeframe.
Your state's law may provide additional rights
Call recording and monitoring laws vary by state. Some states require the caller to be notified and/or to consent before a call is recorded. This notice is intended to provide that notification. Legal Review Required This section should be reviewed by qualified counsel to confirm it satisfies notice/consent requirements in every state where calls are placed or received.
